Like Donald Trump, the bloated charlatan who cried wolf in an oral tradition, Gianni Infantino says stupid things because he likes the reaction, even though everyone knows what he’s saying isn’t true.

President Trump and Infantino share a strain for words and truth.

For anyone who genuinely cares about football over the pockets of greedy parasites, a long-overdue glimmer of hope has finally emerged. Infantino has crossed a line, and a growing number of FIFA member associations now view his job as completely untenable.
